Mouth Watering Mobile Maps

I can't wait to have GPS available at my fingertips wherever I go, on foot or in the car. I'm upgrading my mobiles this week as they have very limited features and are old and chunky. I'm amazed i've lasted this long resisting the temptation to buy a current phone filled with not so useful features, but now that GPS is available I can not resist any longer. It's definitely time to break out my credit card and upgrade to a new mobile phone with all the trimmings!

With all the many phones to choose from, I haven't a clue as to which one I shall pick! Online mobile phone reviews and recommendations will be a great help and should siphon out the phones with unwanted issues. I'm hoping to buy a 3G phone with GPS (of course), 5 megapixel camera, fast internet, a large screen, and a shockproof casing.

The price for all these features is sure to be astronomical but I think buying my dream phone will ensure it'll last me years and years. There are large price differences between mobile stores so it's important to compare prices while keeping in mind that some cheap mobiles are sourced from other countries and may have unsuitable power requirements.

A New Discovery!

Finally I have found a group of websites filled with all things useful to help me through my days. These websites are full of sites recommended by other users and are a great way to avoid useless information. A few I am particularly partial to are:

This website is an achievement of human integrity with sites aiding those with financial difficulties. Kim's website has made my day with a virtual fortune of handy information and recipes. Ellen has a marvellous website of unique and eye opening sites.

I wish I had discovered these sites earlier to save a lot of time!

Jobs.com.au Launch

The high ranking Australian jobs and career website, Jobs.com.au, has partnered with JOBX in a move to improve the customer experience with greater search functionality and a wider variety of advertised positions. The Jobs.com.au business was acquired in June 2007 by a Brisbane-based web publishing firm. Since the original relaunch of Jobs.com.au in 2007, the website has continued its rise in popularity to its current standing as one of the highest ranking job sites in Australia.

Brisbane, QLD (PRWEB) April 19, 2008 -- The high ranking Australian jobs and career website, Jobs.com.au, has partnered with JOBX in a move to improve the customer experience with greater search functionality and a wider variety of advertised positions. The Jobs.com.au business was acquired in June 2007 by a Brisbane-based web publishing firm. Since the original relaunch of Jobs.com.au in 2007, the website has continued its rise in popularity to its current standing as one of the highest ranking job sites in Australia.

Jobs.com.au CEO, Peter Andronicos, understood the need for a more comprehensive user experience if the website was to grow, the dynamic career website JOBX was approached to further develop the functionality of Jobs.com.au. This partnership has benefited JOBX by providing them with much more high quality traffic than they would normally have expected and has shown exceptional results in a very limited amount of time. A marked increase in the exploration of the pages on Jobs.com.au has also been felt, demonstrating that users have embraced the changes with gusto.

With the unemployment rate at astonishing lows of 4.0% in March 2008, job search sites offer more potential than ever before in helping people into the careers they want. Low unemployment and a high level of new jobs being advertised every day means that users more than ever before will need easily accessible and understandable help to sort through the massive range of career choices. Signs that job advertisements have fallen in both February and March indicates some slowing of the economy, but this makes it more vital than ever to get into the right job before competition rises again.

Using the JOBX platform allows Jobs.com.au to provide a range of tools and resources for job seekers. From job-related videos, including tips on how to do well in interviews to inspiration and advice from experts in their field. There's also a range of web 2.0 features such as the job wiki, polls, webinars, job news, competitions and podcasts. Jobs.com.au also provides a cheaper alternative for employers to advertise a job online with listings starting from just $29.95.

Jobs.com.au provided a portal to many top career websites and job search tools from its original launch in 2007, but the redesign of the site has dramatically improved the range of user experience. A powerful search tool has been added to the site, making it much more convenient to find the best jobs, as well as a massive expansion of the job categories index to help users of all kinds to narrow down their search criteria even further. Additionally, extra resources and training possibilities have been added to the Jobs.com.au site by JOBX, giving users help beyond just searching through advertised positions.

Two-Wheel Temptations

A new scooter shop opened up in the next suburb and it occurred to me what a great idea it would be to have a scooter for all the little errands I go on daily. I'm interested in the Vespa in particular and will make sure it is available in speedy red. This shop even allows you to pay it off slowly with your online credit card!

It is a reputable shop franchise so I won't have to worry about credit card scams and fraud. They even throw in a free cleaning kit and petrol vouchers! I won't jump in and buy one immediately as tempting as it may be, as I have to do some thorough researching to ensure I buy the right scooter for me.

Holiday Season Safety

The Easter holidays are almost here so it's time to get my car serviced ready for all the travelling we plan to do visiting family and friends. I've got a huge crack in my windscreen and I desperately need new tyres so that's going to cost a pretty penny!

I'd love to buy a new car but I shall keep dreaming for now and eventually get a car loan. In the meantime I think credit cards are the way to go to fix up my current car.

I might have to end up getting a rental car if the servicing takes too long but with interest free credit cards I can just pay off the cost within the interest free period.
